Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Description

Seeking a talented Attorney to join a client firm's civil litigation defense practice at their Raleigh office. The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, is admitted to the North Carolina state bar, and has prior experience in civil litigation.

You will be representing our insurance company clients and their insureds, as well as corporate clients, in all aspects of civil litigation. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, negotiating on behalf of clients, and preparing pleadings, discovery, and motions. You will also have the opportunity to manage cases independently and as part of a dynamic case team.

To excel in this role, you must have strong legal research abilities and excellent negotiation skills. Your written and verbal communication must also be top-notch.
