Paralegal

Ascendo Resources is partnering with a highly respected Raleigh-based law firm seeking an experienced Transactional / Estate Planning Paralegal to support a dynamic trusts, estates, and business transactions practice.

This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive paralegal who enjoys meaningful client interaction, sophisticated document drafting, and managing matters from intake through completion.

• Draft comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
• Prepare business formation and transactional documents (entity formations, operating agreements, corporate filings, and related documents)
• Support probate and trust administration matters as needed
• Coordinate client meetings, maintain ongoing communication, and manage follow-ups
• Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely court and agency filings
• Communicate directly with clients, financial institutions, and third parties

• 5+ years of experience in estate planning and/or transactional law
• Paralegal certificate preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in legal document management systems and Microsoft Office
