Our client is a leading corporate law firm that provides strategic legal and business advice to high growth technology and life sciences companies and the venture capital and angel investors who fund them.

Ideal candidates will have strong academic credentials from a high caliber law school and a demonstrated interest in the innovation economy and working with venture backed and emerging growth companies.

Successful candidates will have experience in the following areas:

• Corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
• Transactional due diligence
• Fundraising and venture financings, including issuances of preferred stock and convertible securities
• Acting as outside general counsel, including counseling clients, drafting consents and reviewing contracts
• Managing capitalization tables, including via Carta and other cap table management systems, and preparing waterfalls and pro formas

A North Carolina bar license is highly preferred; the ability to become licensed in NC is required.
