Senior Family Law Attorney 13+ Years of Experience | Leadership Role | Raleigh, NC

At Triangle Divorce Lawyers, we’re not just growing — we’re building something intentional. We believe exceptional legal work is rooted in strong values, steady leadership, and a team that genuinely supports one another. If you’re a seasoned family law attorney who wants influence, meaningful work, and a collaborative culture — not just another case load — this may be your next chapter.

The

Opportunity

This is a true leadership role. You’ll handle sophisticated family law matters while also shaping strategy, mentoring rising attorneys, and contributing to firm-level decisions. Your voice will matter in case of strategy meetings, process improvements, and the overall direction of the firm.

We’re looking for someone who brings depth, discernment, and a calm, confident courtroom presence — and who also believes that how we treat clients and colleagues matters just as much as the outcome.

What You’ll Lead & Own
  • Manage complex family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and equitable distribution
  • Provide high-level strategy on nuanced and high-stakes matters
  • Represent clients with professionalism, composure, and empathy
  • Mentor and guide associate attorneys and paralegals
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on case strategy and operational improvements
  • Help strengthen a culture rooted in accountability, respect, and continuous growth
What You Bring
  • 13+ years of family law experience in North Carolina
  • Active NC law license in good standing
  • Strong courtroom presence and sound legal judgment
  • Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters
  • Emotional intelligence and thoughtful communication skills
  • A leadership mindset — you elevate those around you
  • Alignment with our core values: collaboration, integrity, empathy, and excellence
Our Culture (And Why It Matters) That Means
  • Clear expectations and direct, transparent communication
  • Respect for work-life balance and personal boundaries
  • Leadership that values initiative and input
  • A team that supports each other professionally and personally

Experience is respected here. Growth is encouraged. Collaboration is expected.

Growth & Influence

This role offers more than stability — it offers impact.

  • Meaningful involvement in firm-level strategy
  • Opportunity to shape processes and mentor future leaders
  • Long-term growth within an established and expanding practice

If you’re ready to bring your experience into a firm where your leadership will truly matter, we would welcome a conversation.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package aligned with experience, along with benefits designed to support both professional success and personal well-being.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

If you’re a seasoned North Carolina family law attorney who wants meaningful work, thoughtful collaboration, and the ability to influence the future of a growing firm, we’d love to connect.

Compensation: $150,000+
