What You’ll Do- Draft and prepare family law pleadings, motions, discovery, and financial affidavits
- Manage case files with accuracy and attention to detail
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather information
- Coordinate hearings, mediations, and court filings
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and organization of exhibits
- Track deadlines and ensure timely case progression
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative team members to ensure seamless client service
- 4+ years of family law paralegal experience (North Carolina experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of North Carolina court procedures and filing systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation$50,000 +
Responsibilities- Draft and prepare family law pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, financial affidavits, and other case-related documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage active caseloads by maintaining organized electronic and physical files, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely filings in accordance with North Carolina court procedures.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients to gather information, provide updates, and support them throughout the legal process.
- Coordinate and schedule hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings while ensuring all necessary documents and materials are prepared in advance.
- Assist attorneys with trial and mediation preparation, including organizing exhibits, compiling evidence, and preparing case summaries.
- Monitor case progression and proactively identify next steps to keep matters moving forward efficiently.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative team members to deliver a seamless, high-quality client experience.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a family law paralegal (North Carolina experience strongly preferred).
- Thorough understanding of North Carolina family law procedures, court rules, and filing requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, discovery, financial documents, and other case materials with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
