Job Details
Ideal candidates will have strong academic credentials from a high caliber law school and a demonstrated interest in the innovation economy and working with venture backed and emerging growth companies.
Successful candidates will have experience in the following areas:
Corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions;
Transactional due diligence;
Fundraising and venture financings, including issuances of preferred stock and convertible securities;
Acting as outside general counsel, including counseling clients, drafting consents and reviewing contracts; and
Managing capitalization tables, including via Carta and other cap table management systems, and preparing waterfalls and pro formas.
A North Carolina bar license is highly preferred; the ability to become licensed in NC is required
