The person in this role will help with airport pick-up/drop-off as well as scheduled events for NC State international visitors participating in a GTI and other international program. The selected candidate will transport program participants to/from their temporary accommodations, training locations, and other scheduled activities. The selected candidate must have flexibility in availability as evening and weekend hours will be required.
Hours will vary based on program needs.
- Attend non-revenue generating sporting events for free.

Work Schedule
Work Schedule Up to 20-30 hours a week as needed
Other Work/Responsibilities
Maintenance of GTI buses as needed
- Satisfactory driving record and obedience towards all traffic laws
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate clearly with staff and visitors
- Friendly and helpful disposition
- Ability to work effectively with supervisor and as part of a team
- Ability to work with Google calendar for scheduling of driving times
- Ability and experience driving a 15 passenger van and/or mini-bus and/or large vehicles
- Ability to communicate effectively with visitors and GTI staff
- Attention to detail is required
- Knowledge of NC State area (and nearby housing complexes is a plus)
- Ability to show cultural sensitivity towards newly arrived international visitors
- Valid Driver’s License required at time of hire.
- Submission of a Driver’s Background Check through NC State’s background check system prior to hiring.
