Procurement Team Lead - Substations

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, commodity management, or project procurement experience.
• Master's degree with 6+ years of experience also considered.
• Previous leadership experience managing or mentoring procurement/sourcing teams.
• Experience developing sourcing strategies and supporting large, complex projects.
• Strong background in supplier negotiations, contract management, and commercial risk assessment.
• Experience evaluating supplier performance, financial stability, and supply chain risk.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including cost analysis and pricing evaluation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

• Experience supporting transmission, substation, utility, switch gear, transformer, EPC, or other large capital infrastructure projects.
• Experience using SAP or other ERP/procurement systems.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, APICS, PMP, or equivalent.
• Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.

The Team Lead – Procurement will lead procurement and sourcing activities for large‑scale transmission and substation projects across North America. This role combines hands‑on project procurement execution with team leadership, supplier strategy, commercial negotiations, risk management, and stakeholder coordination. The position is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, mitigating supply chain risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with business and project requirements.
