Accentuate Staffing is assisting a global manufacturer who is hiring an Import/Export Coordinator to join their team. This is a contract-hire position working onsite Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities- Import/Export Coordinator will ensure compliance with the US government regulations on international shipments
- Coordinator will prepare documentation for daily exports, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Coordinator will create international shipments in UPS, Fed Ex, or DHL
- Coordinator will coordinate air land, and ocean transportation services with carriers or brokers
- Coordinator will audit international invoices
- Coordinator will review government and transportation regulations
- Coordinator will process loss or damage claims related to shipments
- Candidates must have 3+ years related work experience with a Bachelors degree
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of international trade, domestic trade, and transportation terms and policies
- Candidates must be computer savvy with ERP Systems, Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
