Check Defense is a fast-growing federal contractor seeking an experienced Property / Logistics Manager to oversee all logistics, supply chain, inventory management, government property accountability, warehouse operations, and transportation functions supporting a U.S. Army Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Training, Maintenance, Logistics, and Mission Support Services contract.

The Property / Logistics Manager is responsible for effectively managing, controlling, accounting for, and distributing Government Furnished Property (GFP), Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), aircraft components, repair parts, support equipment, tools, and mission-essential supplies. The successful candidate will lead logistics personnel and coordinate closely with maintenance, operations, information technology, quality control, and Government stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted mission support and regulatory compliance.

This position serves as the principal logistics and property management authority for the contract and plays a critical role in maintaining aircraft readiness, operational efficiency, and contractual compliance.

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage all logistics and supply chain operations supporting contract requirements.
• Develop and implement logistics management processes to support maintenance, training, operational, and administrative activities.
• Ensure continuous availability of repair parts, consumables, support equipment, and mission-essential resources.
• Coordinate logistics support requirements with Government representatives, Program Management, and functional managers.
• Develop logistics performance metrics and monitor effectiveness of supply support programs.
• Ensure logistics operations comply with contract requirements, Army regulations, and company policies.
• Serve as the Government Property Manager for all Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP).
• Maintain accountability and visibility of all contract property assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Conduct inventories, reconciliations, audits, and property inspections.
• Ensure accurate property records are maintained within approved property management systems.
• Investigate property discrepancies, losses, damages, and destruction incidents.
• Coordinate annual inventories and Government property inspections.
• Manage inventory control processes for aircraft components, repair parts, tools, support equipment, and supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and forecast material requirements based on maintenance schedules and operational demand.
• Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely acquisition of required materials and services.
• Establish inventory controls to minimize shortages, overstock situations, and excess inventory.
• Ensure proper receiving, storage, handling, and issuance of inventory items.
• Oversee warehouse operations, storage facilities, tool rooms, and material handling activities.
• Ensure materials are properly stored, secured, identified, and protected from damage or deterioration.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Government property regulations, and contractual requirements.

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field. Equivalent military or commercial logistics experience may be substituted for education.
