General Cleaner - North Wake Landfill

Job Overview

General Cleaner – North Wake Landfill at Owens Realty Services. This role focuses on custodial work for the facility.

Hourly wage: $14.00/hr part‑time 18 hours per week.

Work schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

• Perform custodial duties in administrative offices, lobbies, breakrooms, lounges, corridors, bathrooms, elevators and stairways.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and restocking supplies.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, windows and doors.
• Collect recyclable and non‑recyclable waste and replace trash liners.
• Vacuum traffic areas and remove debris from carpets.
• Lock and unlock doors and windows, turn off lights in unoccupied rooms.
• Identify and report safety hazards to supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and infection control practices.
• Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
