The Janitorial Specialist is a contract, remote role responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning and facility care services at assigned client locations. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal, as well as cleaning restrooms, break rooms, and common areas according to established standards. The role may also involve basic exterior maintenance, such as entryway cleaning, spot treatment of outdoor surfaces, and monitoring supply levels.

The Janitorial Specialist follows safety protocols, uses approved cleaning products and equipment, and completes work logs or digital checklists to document services performed. This role requires reliable communication with supervisors and clients, adherence to schedules, and the ability to work independently while maintaining consistent quality.

• Experience with general janitorial tasks, including floor care, restroom sanitation, surface disinfection, and waste handling.
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products, equipment operation (e.g., vacuums, floor machines), and basic safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, complete digital checklists or apps, and maintain accurate service records.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation to client sites and willingness to work flexible hours based on contract needs.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move equipment or supplies as required for cleaning tasks.
• Prior experience in commercial, industrial, or facility cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to professional conduct, confidentiality, and respectful interaction with clients and team members.
