Role Overview
The Vice President of Client Services is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing client service delivery, supporting client retention efforts, and contributing to the evolution of Indie Consulting’s service organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to support strong client relationships, effective service delivery, and operational consistency.
The VP of Client Services works across strategy, creative, and activation teams to help ensure services are aligned, scalable, and responsive to client needs. This role also supports the evaluation and adoption of emerging tools and technologies, including AI, to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and client outcomes where appropriate. In addition, this role contributes to organizational planning by supporting the development of team structure, processes, and leadership capabilities within the Client Services function as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee client service functions across service divisions, supporting collaboration, alignment, and consistent delivery
- Works closely with CEO to determine annual & quarterly goal planning for our services team
- Optimize service offerings across strategy, creative, and activation teams
- Optimize service teams to create structure that allows for employee growth and scale of quality service delivery in partnership with the Service Team Directors
- Support client retention efforts by serving as a senior point of contact on key accounts and participating in client reviews
- Provide business strategy support for all integrated service accounts li>
- Lead quarterly service performance reviews to assess client health, delivery quality, and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with CEO and Business Development Lead on new business opportunities
- Partner with Business Development Lead and Service Team Directors to support scope oversight and resourcing
- Partner with Operations to support recruiting strategy and workforce planning
- Support the evaluation, testing, and adoption of AI and emerging tools across all of our services
- Help establish and refine service processes, workflows, and standards
Maintain senior‑level involvement in existing client relationships, including escalation support
- 10+ years of experience in client services, account management, consulting, or related fields
- Prior experience in a senior leadership or people management role
- Experience working with complex, multi-disciplinary client accounts
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Experience contributing to account planning, forecasting, or scope management
- Agency or consultancy experience preferred
- Experience working with consumer or CPG brands preferred

Reporting Relationship: Executive Leadership
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Location: This role is based in New York, NY or Raleigh, NC with a hybrid schedule of three in‑office days and two remote days each week.

Description:
$200,000–$225,000 base salary, plus benefits and bonus eligibility
