Key Responsibilities
  • Manage overall property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and resident services
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of staff members to ensure a high-performance environment
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols
  • Maintain and enhance property conditions through regular inspections and effective maintenance coordination
  • Develop budgets, analyze financial reports, and manage fiscal responsibilities
  • Drive marketing initiatives to maintain high occupancy levels and attract new residents
  • Build strong relationships with residents, addressing any concerns professionally and promptly
  • Conduct thorough leasing processes, from tours to signing lease agreements
  • Manage resident retention programs and community engagement activities
  • Act as a representative of Common Place in community events and local networking opportunities
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in property management or a related field
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong understanding of property management software; experience with Appfolio preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound knowledge of laws affecting property management and residential leasing
  • Organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to handle resident concerns and conflict resolution effectively
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Valid driver's license required for securing supplies and traveling to court in representing the company in legal eviction proceedings
