KCI Technologies, Inc. is looking for a highly talented, creative, and motivated Structures Practice Leader.

Your primary responsibility will be to establish and grow a Structural practice within the Transportation Discipline and ou will work with KCI local and regional leadership to assess the market and to identify opportunities for bridge/structure projects with current and prospective clients.

• Must be a highly self-motivated dynamic individual.
• Directly reports to South East Regional Practice Leader.
• Serves as a Practice Leader in the Transportation Design Discipline.
• Marketing/Business Development - build backlog by pursing and winning new projects for Transportation Design.
• Identify target clients and opportunities that best position KCI to expand our presence in the market and build backlog.
• Meet with existing and clients to position KCI for future work
• Lead the effort to market and position the firm to capture the opportunities
• Lead/assist with teaming efforts
• Lead development of proposals
• Design/Build - Work closely with KCI D/B Discipline Head and others to assess the D/B market
• Where appropriate, serve as Project Manager or Pursuit Lead as appropriate.
• Management/Leadership/Motivation
• Provide Leadership/Mentorship/Motivation to staff
• Take an active role in recruitment and development of new staff
• Project Management/Engineering – serve as a Project Manager on design or design-build projects
• Develop (or assist with) scope, schedule and fees for projects
• Serve as a PM or technical resources to develop plans, specifications and estimates
• Provide independent QA/QC on projects
• Work closely with other KCI Disciplines to market/cross-sell/engineer work.

Leadership and Management:

• Provide leadership and guidance to Project Managers (PMs) and Senior Project Managers (Sr. PMs), and staff within the practice.
