A confidential modular mechanical systems manufacturer is hiring a Project Manager to support its offsite manufacturing operations in the Greensboro area. This is a full-time, on-site role within a production facility that delivers prefabricated mechanical and environmental control systems for large-scale, mission‑critical facilities. The position supports a 5+ year secured pipeline of work with major technology clients, producing modular solutions for data centers and other highly technical environments, including complex mechanical and CUP‑style systems.

This Project Manager position is centered on project controls, with a strong emphasis on scheduling, budgeting, and cost management in a manufacturing‑driven environment. You’ll manage multiple concurrent work streams from planning through delivery, ensuring projects meet production timelines and financial targets. A key component of the role is mentoring and developing junior project staff, helping build consistent processes and grow internal talent as the operation scales.

• Manage schedules, budgets, and execution for modular mechanical system projects
• Develop and maintain production and delivery schedules
• Track costs, forecasts, and change impacts
• Coordinate with fabrication, engineering, procurement, and logistics teams
• Identify and mitigate schedule and cost risks
• Mentor and train junior project managers and project engineers
• Support standardization and continuous improvement initiatives

• Project management experience in construction, mechanical, plumbing, or manufacturing environments
• Strong capability in scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
• Exposure to mechanical or MEP systems preferred
• Ability to work on‑site at the facility five days per week
• Experience mentoring or training junior staff
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable in a production setting
