Quality Technician – Aerospace Manufacturing

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Technician to support inspection, testing, and compliance efforts within our aerospace manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring products meet strict customer, regulatory, and AS9100 quality standards.

The ideal candidate is hands‑on, process‑focused, and committed to maintaining the highest level of workmanship in a precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of aerospace components and assemblies
  • Interpret engineering drawings,
    GD&T, and customer specifications
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM equipment
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities for nonconforming material
  • Assist with audits, quality reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues quickly
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or technician role (aerospace preferred)
  • Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO, FAA requirements)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement systems
  • Experience with NCRs, MRB processes, and quality documentation
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of SPC, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement
  • Prior experience in machining, composites, or aerospace assembly environments
