Transform the everyday with us We are looking for an Electrical Quality Inspector for our Solutions Production team on 1st shift. This position will be based at our Knightdale, NC facility.

Hours:

7:00AM-4:30PM

Hourly Rate: 22.46

You’ll make an impact by:
  • Perform in-process electrical inspection duties.
  • Inspect each product to company quality standards and guidelines per internal documentation.
  • Review electrical specifications and drawings to ensure that products have been built correctly on the production line.
  • Troubleshoot solutions that benefit the team in the event of electrical deviation and implement corrective action.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports.
  • Work with production and engineering teams during the inspection process and report any findings.
  • Adhere to developed processes, methods and/or seek ways to improve processes.
  • Must adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others.
  • Perform miscellaneous other electrical duties assigned by Supervisor or Management.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of prior work experience with production & inspection in a manufacturing setting.
  • 1+ years of experience working with continuity testers and/or multimeters.
  • Ability to interpret elementary diagrams and electrical schematics for point-to-point continuity checks.
  • Experience working with various types of inspection tools and methods.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of prior work experience with production & inspection at a Siemens facility.
  • Experience or training in Nexans connectors.
  • High school / GED.
  • Experience working with SAP and Salesforce.
  • Must have the ability to troubleshoot causes for wiring failure.
  • Understand the basics of wire crimping, stripping, and cutting and what a quality product looks like.
  • Ability to inspect electrical workmanship against internal quality documentation.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and suggest solutions and improvements when faults are found.
  • Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive for continual improvement of the intended outcomes of the Management System.
