2nd Shift Grinding Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well‑established manufacturing company in the Raleigh area with their search for a Grinding Technician. This is a contract‑hire role working Monday through Thursday 3pm‑1am.

• Operate grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools to remove slag, weld splatter, burrs, and surface defects from metal parts and assemblies.
• Review blueprints, work orders, and production documents to determine finishing requirements.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer specifications are met.
• Complete required production documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, grinding, deburring, or welding support preferred.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and perform basic measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with grinders, sanders, and basic inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including respiratory and hearing protection.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and stand for extended periods.
