Material Handler - 2nd Shift - RPO

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Material Handler – 2nd Shift – RPO to join our team at the Spring Forest Rd location in Raleigh, NC.

Pay rate: $18.50 + shift differential per hour. Core hours: 2:30pm – 11:00pm.

• Exhibit strong adherence to quality; continually seek improvement methods for all position functions.
• Ensure products and parts meet Eaton’s quality guidelines as they move throughout production. Perform quality checks as instructed.
• Operate and read hand‑held RF units to locate, move, and allocate material.
• Move material based on production plan and material requests.
• Kit parts and components; distribute to production lines with accuracy and maintain integrity of configured kits.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer orders through daily monitoring; perform cycle counts and maintain inventory system as required.
• Load and unload trucks and inspect material for damage.
• Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions.
• Drive a box truck as needed for up to 2–3 hours daily.
• Drive and maintain forklifts through daily inspection checklists and perform 5S+ housekeeping duties as necessary.

• Required (Basic) – High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

• No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within the Raleigh, NC area; active military service members are exempt from the geographical limitation.
• Preferred – 6+ months experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience using SAP or other warehouse management systems.
• Experience with Microsoft applications (Office, SharePoint).

• Use good judgment when handling material with a safety focus.
• Work daily and/or weekend overtime; willingness to flex to different areas or local plants.
• Lift 50 lbs.; stand for extended periods; repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting are inherent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to become certified in forklift operation to transport and locate equipment and materials.
