We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers to join our eMobility team. This position will be based in Knightdale, NC.As a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for the building, assembling, and wiring of all assemblies and sub-assemblies related to DC vehicle chargers.

Hours:

6:00am - 2:30pmHourly Rate: $19.76

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

1+ year of experience performing mechanical assembly or experience in the mechanical field1+ year of experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery operated

Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values

Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices

Able to Identify mechanical parts and electrical components

Capable of safely performing physical labor in a manufacturing environment while meeting all job requirements.

Must be able to reach, grasp, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide materials.

Ability to work standing for the entire shift and perform physical tasks including stooping, bending, squatting, crawling, sitting and climbing.

Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

HS Diploma / GEDSAP experience

Proven record in Quality and Productivity You'll make a difference by:

Assembly and wire DC charger cabinets, dispensers, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders

Perform Sub assembly work including mechanical assembly of steel and components, control wiring, power cable work, and interconnection of control wires

Record appropriate job record transactions

Read BOM, follow layouts & assembly drawings

Set and correct use of Torque wrenches

Adhere to developed processes, methods and/or seek ways to improve

Must adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others

Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management You should be proficient in:

Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills Maintenance and Repair Skills Mechanical Assembly Skills Blueprint Reading
