Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Assembler I - 2nd shift - RPO at our Spring Forest Rd location in Raleigh, NC.
The hourly rate for this position is $18.50 + shift differential per hour.
The core hours are 2:30pm-11:00pm.

- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Build sub‑assemblies and assemblies using standard operating procedures.
- Be responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly.
- Use various fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with Raleigh Plant Quality standards and make necessary adjustments when required to meet quality goals.
- Adhere to environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.
- Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
- Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S+.
- High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution.

- Previous experience with standard operating procedures.
- Previous experience with product electrical assembly, maintenance and/or repair.
- Soldering experience.
- Basic experience with computers.
- Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.
- Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures.
- Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to distinguish colored wiring.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
