Manufacturing Lab Technician I
Shift: M-F 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Contract:
0-8 Months (Possible extensions)

This is a manufacturing lab. This job will involve very minimal scientific interface. The primary desire for applicants is a positive attitude and strong teamwork experience. The Technician I is responsible for completing all daily and weekly decons of equipment, end of shift and ancillary tasks. This position is also responsible for labeling and hand capping tubes and completing safety/QA audits on the floor.
This position reports to the Value Stream supervisor and is part of the Standard Desalt Value Stream located in RTP, North Carolina and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols in accordance with work instructions and sign off completion of tasks in company software programs
- Package product as customer demand requires
- Supply the production line with necessary materials to ensure smooth process flow
- Complete safety/QA audits as scheduled
The essential requirements of the job include:
- High School diploma or GED
- Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience
