Electro-Mech OEM Assembler

Role Overview

Ontic is seeking an Electro-Mech OEM Assembler to join our Creedmoor, NC production team. The role reports to the Production Cell Leader and involves working the 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 1:30PM to 12:00AM, 10‑hour shifts).Pursue an experienced, detail‑oriented assembler, dedicated to quality and safety.

• Assemble and test mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic sub‑ or top assemblies of basic to intermediate complexity.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, workmanship, functionality, performance, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Follow documented work instructions, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and other approved technical data in both hard‑copy and electronic formats.
• Use mechanical and electronic measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and scales.
• Perform cleaning, soldering, winding, safety‑wire, wire‑crimp, marking, etching, and varnishing processes.
• Comply with Chemical Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines, safety guidelines, and procedures.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in the aerospace industry preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical hand tools and basic computer skills.
• Experience with TIG welding and resistance welding is a plus.
