Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Continuous Improvement Leader to drive Lean transformation and operational excellence within a manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, leading Lean initiatives, optimizing manufacturing processes, and implementing sustainable solutions that improve productivity, quality, cost, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization, along with proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
  • Drive operational excellence through waste reduction, process optimization, and productivity improvements.
  • Plan and facilitate Kaizen events and other continuous improvement workshops.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Utilize Lean tools including 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Standard Work, Visual Management, Kanban, SMED, and TPM to improve operational performance.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and develop sustainable solutions that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Lead small- to mid-sized Continuous Improvement projects from planning through implementation.
  • Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and drive data-based decision making.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Process Improvement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience facilitating Kaizen events and implementing Lean initiatives.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, A3, DMAIC, etc.).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical, communication, project management, and leadership skills.
