Our client, a manufacturer of custom industrial machinery and automation equipment, is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and oversee safety, quality, delivery, and productivity across the facility.
Responsibilities- Lead daily manufacturing operations, scheduling, and capacity planning.
- Manage machining, fabrication, assembly, testing, and production activities.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and track KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Partner with Engineering to support design-to-build execution.
- Lead quality, root-cause analysis, and corrective action efforts.
- Manage, coach, and develop production teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Improve operational efficiency, throughput, and on-time delivery.
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience managing teams of 30+ employees.
- Strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
- Experience in custom machinery, automation, capital equipment, or industrial manufacturing.
- Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- ERP/MRP system experience preferred.
