We’re looking for an experienced Supervisor Overwrap tojoin our team. Location: Durham, NC
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am 2,2,3,2 rotation)
FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

The Supervisor, Overwrap is responsible for leading daily operations within the Overwrap department while ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to customer specifications and quality standards.

This hands-on leadership role provides day-to-day direction, coaching, and support to production employees while partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve productivity, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

• Lead daily Overwrap production operations and support department performance goals.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop production team members.
• Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are achieved.
• Monitor productivity, downtime, waste, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Support employee onboarding, training, and ongoing development.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production reports and communicate operational updates to leadership.
• Support preventative maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality, Shipping, Inventory, Production Coordination, Facilities, IT, and Operations teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, security requirements, SOPs, and ISO standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, printing, or production environments.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience required.
• Experience working with overwrap, packaging, or finishing equipment preferred.
• Printing industry experience preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, OSHA, ISO, or continuous improvement experience is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of overwrap production equipment and processes.
