Summary:

Rosenboom is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Inventory Control team. This role is essential to maintaining an accurate and organized flow of materials throughout our facility

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport materials to and from stockroom areas, staging, storage, and production floors to ensure timely availability.
• Accurately record received and removed inventory into the proper database to maintain daily stock accuracy.
• Process and document all “Drop” and “Cut from Drop” sheets.
• Conduct spot checks and participate in periodic cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Educate team members on proper stock handling and recording procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled storage areas, utilizing saved casting boxes when appropriate.
• Ensure all materials are labeled correctly with necessary details: quantity, heat numbers, PO numbers, part numbers, and location barcodes.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the staging area, stockroom, and storage areas.
• Fill in for Toolroom, Stockroom, or Material Handling personnel as needed.

Competencies:

• Ability to read and understand part numbers, flow of materials, job sheets, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with QA policies including rejection tagging systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure materials arrive at their point of use efficiently.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills; experience with scanning systems.
• Willingness to become certified on equipment including:
  Combilift, Raymond, Wave, and standard tow motors.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform full shifts, including potential overtime.
