Production Associate

Novolex is hiring immediately for a Production Associate in Raleigh. Six months of relevant warehousing/manufacturing experience required. Incentives include pay starting at $21.47 an hour, a comprehensive benefits package, career growth and promotions from within, and annual & skills-based wage increases. Available shift includes rotating 12 hour shifts 7am-7pm/7pm-7am with 7 consecutive days off every month.

Key job responsibilities include following all directives of the supervisor, operators, and department manager, taking instruction from assigned trainers, learning all profiles with regard to specifications, leaving next shift of set up with materials they will need, communicating with next shift technicians, keeping accurate and legible production reports, identifying problems and reporting them to supervision and maintenance, keeping work area neat and clean, and having a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Steady work history, good work ethics, ability to lift at least 50 pounds, ability to read measurements, mechanical aptitude, basic computer knowledge, ability to read/measure with tape ruler, willingness to work 12 hour rotating shifts, safely operate powered industrial equipment, and ability to certify as a technician and continuously improve on personal growth/advancement through our certification process are also required.

Preferred experience includes at least two years of experience in a production workspace, well-organized and history of showing initiative, and knowledge of current OSHA safety rules and regulations.
