Relay is seeking a Director of Field Marketing to serve as the strategic architect of our market presence and the chief orchestrator of our high-touch experience engine. This is not a "booth-and-kiosk" management role; the right candidate will build a high-performance system that transforms physical and digital touchpoints into a predictable revenue flywheel.

This role will own the end-to-end portfolio of Relay's physical presence, ranging from a multi-segment tradeshow engine to a sophisticated array of account-aligned activations. Your scope includes the creation and execution of our Customer Advisory Summits, high-stakes Executive Briefing Center (EBC) meetings at our HQ, and regional summits designed to establish Relay as a thought leader in the field. Whether it is a bespoke high-value dinner for key accounts or a curated factory tour, you ensure every touchpoint accelerates deal velocity and builds undeniable market authority.

What You'll Do:

* Experience Portfolio Architecture:
Design and lead a comprehensive "Experience" strategy that includes major industry trade shows and regional "Safety Summit" or "Digital Transformation" series. You are responsible for ensuring these programs serve as flagship moments for brand authority and pipeline generation.

* Customer Advisory Summits & Executive Briefing Command:
Own the strategy and execution for our Customer Advisory Summits and Executive Briefing Center (EBC) meetings at our Raleigh HQ. You will curate the experience for our most strategic prospects and customers, ensuring every visit is a high-fidelity representation of the Relay brand.

* Bespoke Field Activations:
Architect and institutionalize a playbook for bespoke field events, including intimate high-value dinners, factory tours, and custom site visits tailored to the specific needs of our strategic account-based selling teams.

* Strategic Budget & Resource Allocation:
Oversee the distribution of our annual field budget across 10 market segments, ensuring high-impact returns on our diverse portfolio of events.

* ABM & Marketing Synergy:
Act as a core strategic partner to our Account-Based Marketers (ABM), collaborating to align field activations with live deal cycles and the specific requirements of our sales leadership.

* Cross-Functional Campaign Orchestration:
Partner with Content Marketing to transform event insights into marquee thought-leadership and speak-to-sell opportunities. Partner with Growth Marketing to launch integrated digital campaigns that amplify the impact of physical events.

* The "Experience" Playbook:
Develop and scale the "Relay Playbook" for regional events and summits, creating repeatable, high-quality processes that allow us to scale high-touch marketing without losing the premium feel.

* Measurement & Operational Excellence:
Define and track KPIs for every activation, partnering with Rev Ops to ensure that everything from a 10-person dinner to a 500-person summit is accurately attributed to pipeline influence and deal acceleration.

What You'll Have:

* 8-10+ years of experience in Field Marketing, ABM, or Event Marketing, with a proven track record of managing a broad portfolio of event types (Summits, Dinners, EBCs, and Trade shows).

* At least 3 years in a leadership role managing multi-million dollar budgets and diverse teams within a B2B SaaS environment.

* Deep experience in designing "roadshow" style event series and high-stakes executive programming.

* Approximately 40% travel required to lead key industry events and strategic summits in the field.
