Operating Room Manager

Department: Orthopaedic Surgery Center of Panther Creek

Join our orthopaedic surgery center as an Operating Room Manager!

You’ll combine clinical expertise with leadership, overseeing daily OR operations, staffing, patient care, and sterile processing. Partner with the Director of Nursing and other leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical services.

• Lead and support OR staff, serving as a clinical resource and role model
• Manage staffing, case flow, room assignments, and workflow coordination
• Oversee patient care, hand-offs, and perioperative processes
• Maintain certifications, clinical skills, and readiness for emergencies
• Promote teamwork, professional behavior, and high standards of care
• Provide education and guidance to staff, including orientation of new personnel
• Participate in meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives
• Communicate effectively with leadership, staff, and patients
• Perform other duties as needed to support the surgery center

• RN with active North Carolina license
• 3+ years experience in ambulatory surgery including operating room
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff, management, and vendors
