Director of Nursing Services- Registered Nurse

Village Green Health & Rehabilitation, located in beautiful Fayetteville, North Carolina, is currently looking for an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for our 120-bed skilled nursing facility. • Hold overall accountability for providing leadership, direction, and administration of day-to-day operations associated with direct patient care.

• Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel including nurses, medication aides, certified nursing assistants, and nursing aides in training
• Guide staffing procedures
• Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
• Organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures Qualifications of the Director of Nursing (DON):
  • Maintains a current/unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina
  • A passion for working with seniors.
  • 1+ years of nursing management in the long-term care industry with the experience to include hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
  • Experience tracking, trending, and analyzing infection control and other clinical data.
  • Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel.
  • Great communication and people skills, including keeping a good rapport with surrounding hospitals and organizations.
  • Outstanding organizational and stress management skills.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administration with strong knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare.
