Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC) is currently accepting applications for Licensed Practical Nurses.
This posting is for multiple vacancies. The advertised position number may be for recruiting purposes only.
Practical Nurses are responsible for the administration of medication and ordered treatments; data collection for nursing care; monitoring, observing and performing direct patient care as needed for coverage.
Responsibilities include:Shift preferences will be discussed in the interview and will depend on staffing needs. In addition to our traditional work schedules listed below, flexible schedules may be available.
Work schedules include weekend and holiday rotations. We offer 20% shift premium pay for 2nd and 3rd shift hours and 5% shift premium pay for hours worked on the weekends.
Flexibility is required for training/education purposes and to meet the needs of the facility.
ABOUT BLACK MOUNTAIN NEURO-MEDICAL TREATMENT CENTER:Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is one of three state operated facilities serving adults with chronic and complex medical conditions that co-exist with neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive disorders often related to a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness or intellectual disability. The health and physical status of these residents require 24-hour supervision, daily nursing care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT:We are a specialized long-term care facility focusing on maintaining quality of life and dignity for adults with neurocognitive or neurodevelopmental disorders with coexisting complex medical and behavioral needs whose level of support extends beyond that which can be provided in family or community living settings.
