3Rd Shift Nurse; Lpn Or Rn

Position Overview

Salary: $3 SHIFT DIF for all FT and PT third shift nurses.

Location:

The Lodge at Rocky Mount.

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff can provide appropriate care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments of residents' health status, notify physicians of changes, implement new orders, and document accordingly.
• Develop a care plan based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a resident’s condition and/or prevent complications.

Contribute to the resident’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a care plan.

Applicant must have an unrestricted RN / LPN license, be patient, compassionate, and have a desire to care for residents gently and empathetically.
