UNC Health - - Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, and procure equipment during emergencies;
In the psychiatric setting, aid patients in reality orientation and provide behavior modification/therapy support and de-escalation;
Observe, collect, and document patient information and report changes to a nurse or physician;
Assist patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge;
Provide care/treatments per plan of care including vital signs, wound care, catheter care, glucose checks, ROM, and activities of daily living
