This role requires a qualified ER/Trauma RN based in Wilson, North Carolina. The facility has 294 beds, accredited by the Joint Commission, and features services in cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services, and more. The unit has 26 beds with flexible patient ratios of 1:4-5 depending on acuity. Candidates must be team players with positive attitudes.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department.
Education required:
Associate Degree in Nursing. Preferred: familiarity with electronic health records systems; experience with respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure, dialysis, and hypertension.
The facility is located approximately 45 miles east of a major city, 2 hours from the coast, near universities, a local lake, and historical attractions.
Qualifications and Certifications- Valid Registered Nurse license
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing
