Job Overview
We are hiring a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity hospital-based opportunity in Raleigh, NC. This role is ideal for an experienced L&D nurse seeking a fast‑paced, clinically challenging environment with strong support, meaningful patient impact, and excellent incentives.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery
- Support vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and rapidly changing patient needs
- Collaborate with physicians, OB hospitalists, anesthesia, and surgical teams
- Deliver maternal and newborn care, including postpartum support
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and coordinate continuity of care
- Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
- Background in L&D, OB, women’s health, mother/baby, postpartum, or acute care RN settings can translate well depending on acuity
- Strong skills in patient assessment, fetal monitoring, and emergency response
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications preferred or required based on unit standards
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity hospital environment
- Hospital-based Labor & Delivery
- Night shift differential
- Compensation: $34–$49/hr
- Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus
- Up to $25,000 loan forgiveness
- Relocation assistance, if applicable
