- Provide direct patient care on an inpatient surgical / acute care unit
- Manage post‑operative and acute surgical recovery patients
- Perform assessments, medication administration, care planning, and implementation
- Monitor patient progress and elevate changes in condition appropriately
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and care teams
- Support discharge planning, patient education, and continuity of care
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and coordinate follow‑up needs
- Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of RN experience preferred in acute care, med‑surg, surgical, post‑op, or inpatient hospital nursing
- Strong assessment, documentation, and patient coordination skills
- Comfortable in a structured, team‑based inpatient setting
- Interest in surgical care, post‑op recovery, and acute adult patients
- BLS certification required; other certifications based on unit standards
- Day shift
- Inpatient hospital setting
- Compensation: $34–$49/hr
