Position: Registered Nurse– Surgical / Post-Op Acute Care – Raleigh, NC

About the Role

RN role caring for post‑op and acute surgical patients in a structured hospital setting with strong ratios, sign‑on and loan forgiveness options, and solid clinical support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care on an inpatient surgical / acute care unit
  • Manage post‑operative and acute surgical recovery patients
  • Perform assessments, medication administration, care planning, and implementation
  • Monitor patient progress and elevate changes in condition appropriately
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and care teams
  • Support discharge planning, patient education, and continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation and coordinate follow‑up needs
Qualifications
  • Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 1 year of RN experience preferred in acute care, med‑surg, surgical, post‑op, or inpatient hospital nursing
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and patient coordination skills
  • Comfortable in a structured, team‑based inpatient setting
  • Interest in surgical care, post‑op recovery, and acute adult patients
  • BLS certification required; other certifications based on unit standards
Schedule & Compensation
  • Day shift
  • Inpatient hospital setting
  • Compensation: $34–$49/hr
