Critical Response Team (CRT) Rn
The Critical Response Team (CRT) RN role utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to coordinate, delegate and provide safe therapeutic nursing care to patients throughout the hospital. As an emergency responder, this nurse will respond (along with the appropriate teams) to Rapid Response, Code Blue, Code Stroke, Code Sepsis, Code STEMI, and CRT RN consults with a primary function of collaborating with other disciplines and to provide high quality patient care.
Activities include, but are not limited to:
- Promoting effective team interactions
- Facilitating timely assessment and disposition transfer of the patient between levels of care
- Promoting optimal patient outcomes
The ability to apply critical care nursing skills to a broad range of clinical issues, handle multiple complex situations simultaneously and communicate in an effective, positive, and professional manner is essential.
Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
- ACLS
- CCRN (or willing to obtain within 1 year of hire)
- Charge RN experience
This is a 36 hour/wk position. Some weekends required.

Summary:
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
