Pediatric Nurse Opportunity At UNC Children's Specialty Services
UNC Children's Specialty Services at Raleigh is looking for a friendly, professional, skilled nurse with pediatric experience who enjoys a variety of services and works well with multi-disciplinary teams. Our building consists of 20+ clinic specialties and a 12-chair Infusion Center. We are looking for a nurse who is interested in both clinic and infusion roles.
Nursing skills highly recommended:
- phlebotomy
- PIV insertion
- central line maintenance
- previous infusion/IV therapy experience
- and NG/g-tube management
We are able to offer 2 flexible shift options:
8 hour days for 5 days/week or 9 hour days for 4 days/week. No holidays or weekends are required.

Summary:
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.

Education Requirements:
Graduation from a school of professional nursing. If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
Professional Experience Requirements:
One (1) year of nursing experience.
