Position: FT Infusion Nurse Practitioner (NP)

About the Position

We are seeking an NP to provide high‑quality, specialized infusion therapy in an outpatient setting. As an NP at IVX Health, you’ll provide personalized, compassionate care, oversee patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and providers.

Shift

Tuesday – Friday (7 a‑7 p) with Saturday rotation (8 a‑5 p).

What You Will Do
  • Provide Direct Patient Care – Deliver on‑site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
  • Conduct Patient Assessments – Perform evaluations, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses.
  • Educate and Support Patients – Guide patients and families through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality – Maintain accurate records in the EHR, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
  • Optimize Clinical Workflows – Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams – Work closely with referring providers and cross‑functional teams to enhance care coordination.
  • Support Operations and Training – Assist in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability – Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
  • Perform Additional Duties – Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
What We're Looking For
  • Active and unrestricted NP and RN licenses (if required by state).
  • Board certification (AANP or ANCC).
  • Life support certifications – BLS required; PALS preferred.
  • Clinical experience in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting.
  • Ability to treat a diverse patient population – must care for adults and pediatrics; FNP preferred.
  • Strong IV and infusion therapy skills – experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency protocols.
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation – experience with EHR systems and understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration – ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
