Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Oncology

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Outpatient Oncology Infusion position in Raleigh, NC, requiring at least one year of nursing experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (NC or compact license) required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Outpatient oncology infusion center setting
• Services include chemotherapy and biotherapy infusions, blood product administration, IV iron infusions, port lab draws, injections, and IV fluids and electrolytes
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00am–4:30pm, 40 hours per week
• No weekends, no on‑call, and no holiday requirements beyond every‑other‑holiday (EOH)
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation using the nursing process
• Provides education and emotional support to patients and families throughout their infusion visits
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate complex patient care
• Assesses and addresses discharge planning needs, cultural considerations, and patient and family education
• Drug screening must be completed within 24 hours of accepting an offer; allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results
