A Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide specialized cardiac monitoring and bedside care in a college town, interpreting EKG data and responding promptly to patient changes. The RN will work nights, 12‑hour shifts, for a 13‑week assignment in Goldsboro, NC. The role includes using advanced telemetry equipment, administering cardiac medications, documenting patient status in electronic medical records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality patient care.

• Monitor cardiac patients using telemetry equipment and interpret EKG findings.
• Administer medications, including cardiac agents, according to protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical record.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely charting and documentation.
• Assist in ongoing education and training related to telemetry and cardiac nursing practice.

• Registered Nurse with a valid North Carolina RN license.
• Certification or recent experience in telemetry or cardiac care.
• Proficiency in arrhythmia interpretation and cardiac medication administration.
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
