Overview

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined.
  • Lead clinic staff in behavior, actions and attitude (e.g., X‑Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) to deliver excellent patient care; provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
  • Perform responsibilities as outlined in the SCRIBE job description.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies and current medications.
  • Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership, elevate concerns to management where appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns.
  • Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined.
  • Ensure accurate, timely completion of patient charts and forward charts appropriately on a daily basis; build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
  • Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined by CMO and Supervising Physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliable accuracy.
  • Ensure activities are compliant with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA and all health information management issues.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings.
  • Prioritize telehealth patient queue to ensure proper follow‑up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications responsibly, and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Operate within standard NP/PA protocols.
  • Complete mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed quality of care standards.
  • Adhere to Core Values: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Recommend ideas within clinic and to telehealth leadership to improve overall patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome new employees on day one in the clinic and facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of processes.
  • Assist new employees with learning activities and required training.
  • Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities for new employee training.
  • Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
  • Maintain friendly and cordial relations with clients and employees, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
  • Perform the physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified.
  • Comply with Company standards of operations.
  • Promote and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality for employees, employers, and business.
  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
  • Preferred experience working as a Telehealth Clinician.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
  • PRN Employees must work a minimum of 4 shifts per month;
    Full‑time employees work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend.
