Role:
Nursing Educator responsible for developing, reviewing, and implementing staff training programs, conducting patient assessments, and participating in Treatment Team meetings.
Key Duties:- Facilitates staff education,
- recommends program improvements,
- provides ongoing nursing training aligned with regulatory standards,
- and collaborates with infection control and performance improvement teams.
Assists in patient assessments, screening, and creating care plans across various age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, with an understanding of developmental and behavioral considerations.
Qualifications & Skills:- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Master's preferred),
- RN licensure,
- minimum three years of clinical experience in mental health,
- expertise in crisis intervention, restraint, and de-escalation techniques.
- Must complete CPI/Verbal De-Escalation and CPR training within 30 days.
- Ability to conduct staff training,
- work flexible hours,
- adhere to facility policies, emphasizing confidentiality, service excellence, and compliance with regulatory standards.
