Position: Travel/Contract Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) - Days + Nights Available!

Travel/Contract Registered Nurse for an operating room assignment in or near Raleigh, North Carolina. This 13‑week role requires nursing experience and credentials and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' conditions and prepare them for surgery by reviewing medical histories and ensuring they are ready for the procedure.

  • Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, supporting the surgical team and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient status, procedures performed, and post-operative instructions.

  • Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to ensure seamless workflow and communication within the operating room.

  • Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures to promote a safe operating environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent operating room (OR) nursing experience in a hospital setting

  • Valid North Carolina nursing license

  • Ability to work days and nights

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to adapt to various shifts

  • Strong commitment to patient care
