RN Nurse, Operating Room Nurse, Travel Nurse, Surgical Assistant
Travel/Contract Registered Nurse for an operating room assignment in or near Raleigh, North Carolina. This 13‑week role requires nursing experience and credentials and offers competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:Assess patients' conditions and prepare them for surgery by reviewing medical histories and ensuring they are ready for the procedure.
Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, supporting the surgical team and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient status, procedures performed, and post-operative instructions.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to ensure seamless workflow and communication within the operating room.
Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures to promote a safe operating environment.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Minimum of 1 year of recent operating room (OR) nursing experience in a hospital setting
Valid North Carolina nursing license
Ability to work days and nights
Strong communication skills
Ability to adapt to various shifts
Strong commitment to patient care
Weekly direct deposit pay at $60.00/hour

You hold a current NC RN license and certifications. You have at least one year OR nursing experience. You can work flexible day and night shifts
