NP/PA Pediatric/Newborn Hospitalist Opportunity in Greenville/Morehead City, NC
ECU Health Physicians and Carteret Health Care are seeking an Acute Care trained Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The successful candidate will provide care for newborn infants and pediatric patients at Carteret Health Care located in Morehead City, NC. Monthly rotations at ECU Health Maynard Children's Hospital in Greenville, NC will be incorporated for high-risk resuscitation skills and competency maintenance.

- Support and continuous competency training provided by Maynard Children’s Hospital at ECU Health Medical Center
- Three-month rotating schedule:
Month 1 includes (10) 24-hour call shifts, 1 ECU Health Medical Center training/competency shift, and 1 onsite 8-hour shift;
Month 2 includes (6) 24-hour call shifts and 9 onsite 8-hour shifts;
Month 3 includes (12) 24-hour call shifts. This rotation repeats every three months to support clinical competency, operational readiness, and staffing flexibility. - Clinical responsibilities will include rounding and coordination of care from admission to discharge for all newborn patients, attendance all at high-risk deliveries, and participation in the resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer of critically ill neonates as needed

- Pediatric NP-AC
- Physician Assistant
- Experience in Newborn or NICU - NC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or NC licensure as a Physician Assistant
- National Board Certification as a Pediatric NP-AC, or as Physician Assistant required, including maintenance
- 2+ years of experience in health care setting
- Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
