Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Registered Nurse position in a hospital setting. The role involves providing competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, utilizing the nursing process to ensure high-quality care. The nurse will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, focusing on safety, education, and health promotion.

• Schedule:
  
  Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing, one (1) year of recent cardiovascular intensive care unit (CSICU) experience, licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
• Additional Information:
  Demonstrates competence in caring for patients with complex cardiovascular issues, including physical, psychosocial, and safety aspects. Participates in patient education and discharge planning, collaborates with multidisciplinary resources, and adheres to healthcare standards and protocols. The role includes involvement in patient assessment, care planning, and research application to improve practice outcomes.
