Hybrid Internal Medicine NP; FNP New Grads

An independent internal medicine practice in Sylva, North Carolina is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner as its second provider. The physician owner personally introduces you to patients during ramp-up, handing off her panel one patient at a time at your pace. Start at 18 patients per day, build from there. Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday until 2:00 or 3:00 PM — no overtime expected.

Room to grow into integrative care, aesthetics, and hormone replacement therapy. New graduates welcome. $115,000 to $130,000 base plus a 25% profit-sharing productivity bonus above a $25,000 threshold.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide internal medicine and primary care to adults and older adults ages 16 and up
• Start at approximately 18 patients per day, building toward a full panel over time
• Deliver telehealth consultations extending patient access
• Document encounters promptly in Athena EMR with accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Follow practice ACO standards for patient engagement and quality measures
• Build and retain your own patient panel over time
• Develop skills in integrative care, aesthetics, and hormone replacement therapy as services expand

Qualifications

• MSN or higher | FNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, or ANP certification required
• Active North Carolina NP license before start; candidates outside region must relocate
• Active NPI number, valid DEA certificate, and CAQH account required
• Minimum 1 year prior RN experience required
• Willingness to commit to the practice for at least 2 years
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding required
• 1 year primary care NP experience preferred
• Medicare and Medicaid enrollment preferred; not required at hire

Schedule & Compensation

• $115,000–$130,000/year + 25% profit-sharing productivity bonus above $25,000 threshold
• Full-time | Monday–Thursday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | Friday until 2:00–3:00 PM
