Registered Nurse – ICU (Nights)

Clyde, NC | Acute Care

Contract | 14 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed ICU unit with a 2:1 patient ratio, serving an adult population
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with conditions such as sepsis, COPD exacerbation, hypotension urgency, and hypertension urgency
• Document patient assessments and care plans accurately using the Paragon EHR system
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage as part of standard scheduling expectations
• Occasionally float to the PCU as unit needs require
• Maintain compliance with all facility dress code standards, including navy scrubs and professional appearance guidelines

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Expected weekly hours: 36 hours per week
• No on-call requirements

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU setting
• Familiarity with Paragon or similar EHR platforms
• Experience caring for adult ICU patients with complex, acute diagnoses
• Comfort with floating to step-down or PCU environments

• Work in a Joint Commission Accredited facility located near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with easy access to Asheville and surrounding regional destinations
• Join a well-rounded acute care facility offering a broad scope of services including cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, women's care, behavioral health, and a designated Chest Pain Center
